Itty Bitty Bookworm Review and Giveaway

Starting early is so important in creating a love of learning in our children. That's why the Itty Bitty Bookworm curriculum is such a fabulous tool for parents and teachers alike. Created by veteran preschool teacher, Tara Rison, the Itty Bitty Bookworm curriculum is a "literature based curriculum for young minds everywhere".

From the Itty Bitty Bookworm website:

The magic of The Itty-Bitty Bookworm is in the simple, organized, teach-it-yourself curriculum. It’s a literature-based program on CD that does all the planning for you, so you can focus on what's important ~ your children.

The Itty-Bitty Bookworm is committed to excellence and devoted to the basic tenet that quality education can be enjoyable, too! Our program is specifically designed for children ages 18 months - 5 years of age, and tailored to meet the unique needs of in-home preschools, family child-care centers, child development centers and home-schooling families.

The Itty Bitty Bookworm give you two choices of curriculum:

The "Bailey" Curriculum is geared toward children 18 to 36 months old.

The "Bo" Curriculum is geared toward children 3 to 5 years old.

Each months curriculum is literature based and focuses on helping children develop a life long love of reading and learning. The weekly book selections are some of the best children's books on the market and the lesson plans include learning lessons such as letter and number activity sheets, corresponding games, display cards, poems and nursery rhyme posters, and more.

Our Experience:

We were given the opportunity to try out the Bo's curriculum for a month and I was thrilled when I first opened the download. The books spotlighted in March were ones that I already knew and loved. My daughter was so excited to start her "school" every day and she really got into the lessons.

Each week she was excited to see what new book we would be reading and she proudly displayed her "work" on the refrigerator for all to see. We are so pleased with this curriculum and we would encourage anyone with young children to try out this fabulous curriculum, we know you won't be disappointed.
