Plan Toys Review and Giveaway!!

We are excited to introduce you to this fabulous company today. PlanToys has created some of the most original, educational, and fun toys we have seen on the market.

The toys start out as ideas in the creative minds of veteran designers. Those ideas are transferred into sketches and soon become wondrous playthings. All of PlanToys products include chemical-free wood, nontoxic paints, and safety-conscious ergonomic shapes. All finished toys undergo a rigorous quality inspection before they leave the plant.

PlanToys Vision

We create toys that inspire children’s imagination as well as promote their physical and intellectual development. We’re also proving that it is possible to maintain superior quality standards while steadfastly following a path of environmental and social responsibility.

PlanToys has a fabulous selection of toys for children of all ages. Starting with babies, PlanToys has created toys that are sure to enchant and delight even the youngest children. They have also created wonderful playsets, roadway and city-like transit systems, dollhouses, children's furniture and more.

My Experience:

When we were sent a PlanToys product to review, I was really excited. We received a Lacing Sheep- seen below- to review and before I had even opened the box my little one was sitting at the table, ready to play.

The first thing I noticed when we took the sheep out of the box was that it was so smooth and sturdy- it really felt like it was constructed with care. My daughter was very eager to get started so we began by taking the sheep apart- it looked a bit like this:

She took a minute to look at each piece and named the sheep- "Sheepy"- not so original, but very cute!! Then she began piecing it back together:

Being such a little girl, she has little hands and I was a bit concerned that it might be too much for her to try and hold the sheep while she was lacing it, but she did just fine:

She was really enjoying the challenge of figuring out which pieces to put on first- and after trying it twice, she was almost finished:

The only part she was not able to handle was the very last piece, which required that you pull out the middle lacing part a bit and slide the piece on the elastic. I gave her a quick hand with that and she was very pleased with her creation. She even gave him a little smooch:

And then of course wore him as a hat:

I have to say that I am very impressed with the quality of the toys that PlanToys creates. The materials are so carefully selected and the amount of concentration it took for my little one to put it together let me know that she was really engaging her brain while playing.

I also have to admit that after she went to bed I spent a little time playing with "Sheepy" too and actually found myself enjoying it!! Fun for kids and adults alike!!

 1. I like the fact that you could see the toy in "action" while you were reviewing. I would have thought that the sheep was too little to do anything with much less take apart without the photo. Glad you enjoyed it too!

 9. How great that a company has taken the time and effort to make toys that are educational, ones the kids will love to play with, and are safe for them to play with! Thank goodness we as parents still have options when it comes to finding things for our kidlets that are fun and safe!
